I have been following the discussion on Cuba, and I wonder, how much of
this sustainability is through choice.  In the case of Cuba there was no
choice, so in the next few years, as their society possibly changes when
Castro era is over, and as more trade starts up, it will be interested
to see if and how fast they revert back to where the rest of us are.

Although they have proven that it is possible, so it was a worthwhile
experiment...but only because there was no choice.

Hi I am very interested in this topic.  I am writing an essay for uni

what political system a sustainable society may have.  Clearly our
current 
society is not sustainable.  I am thinking of using Cuba as an example
of a 
society that is truly working towards sustainability.
