Hi Russell,
Since the early days of Permaculture with the regular articles on community/gree economics and EarthBank etc, there seems to have been a neglect of the vital economic-social side, ifn avour of the gardening/farming side of the coin, but both are essential, glad you are being holistic. 
I heard you might have a cheaper course than recently advertised, if so please advise...I also wonder if one here in Newcastle or Sydney would be viable, I think it would, Cameron and I organised a mini-version for the Kennedys, the eminent German and Irish couple of eco-village-architects, a few years ago at UNSW, at only 4 weeks notice, and got a full lecture room of 80 people.(but then, it was only 1 night with low fee)Tom Toogood
