television broadcaster 'DR', DR also hosts our website.

Part of the website is a database of ecological house called 'Living =
Houses' where people can access photos and glean information about =
finished 'natural' houses.=20
At the moment, most of Living Houses is only in Danish, but if you go to =
the website (www.dr.dk/friland) and look under =91Levende Huse=92 then =
you=92ll be able to see what they have so far.

I have an opportunity to broaden the scope of this database; to include =
more houses from around the world, and for the listings to also be in =
English. I would like to do this for a number of reasons:

=B7 The database is a useful resource; both as =91coffee table book=92 =
browsing, and for people who need ideas, tips, contacts, etc while =
building their own houses. An owner can also list their house as =
=91visitable=92.

=B7 There is an agreement with DR that the database will be accessible =
beyond their own website; ie - it could be linked, and so on, to other =
sites, creating an easily available resource of photos and information =
about ecological housing.

=B7 DR has =91unlimited space=92 for Living Houses and they are able to =
host, update, and generally process and edit entries.

Living Houses operates on a formula. The details about the building are =
entered, and at least five photos should also be sent. Someone with a =
house listing can later alter or update their information by using a =
password.

The Living Houses entries (and especially photos) should show the =
thing/s that are particularly special about the house =96 whether that =
is a construction detail, the building material used, an installation or =
special technology, or aesthetic value. Some photos should also show the =
whole house.

If you have a finished house built from ecological materials that you =
are interested in posting on the website, please let me know. If you =
know of other people who have interesting or beautiful houses that would =
be suitable for Living Houses, please let me know, or pass this email on =
to them. I can then send you the formula that needs to filled out.
