Subject: Citrus in the Patch! Red Gums and Native Propagation this weekend
on Gardening Australia.

ON THIS WEEK'S PROGRAM:-

On Gardening Australia this Saturday July 22 at 6.30 pm:-

Pete's Patch

Peter Cundall returns to his patch to show us how to plant and look after
citrus trees.

Red Gums

John Patrick visits a garden on the Bellarine Peninsula in Victoria which
has a 400 year old remnant stand of Red Gums. The owners had no intention of
creating a native garden, but eight years later their property is like a
slice of native bush. They tell John how this happened.

Propagating Natives

Angus Stewart visits passionate native propagator, Brian Roach to find out
about propagating Australian plants. They have a reputation for being
difficult to propagate, but the process becomes much less complicated once
you know learn some tricks of the trade.

Long Island

Jane Edmanson visits part of Melbourne's Royal Botanic Gardens which was
transformed in 2001 when it was planted out with indigenous natives. Long
Island is now an oasis for people and birds alike.

Gardening Australia is also repeated on Sundays at 1pm and

ABC 2: Mon - Thurs 3:00pm. Repeat Tues - Fri 8:30am
