Position available:  Teaching position with research potential in Papua New
Guinea.   

The PNG program of the Wildlife Conservation Society is looking for a
post-doc or qualified MSc to work primarily as a trainer of PNG national
postgraduate students.   

The program currently is training 18 Honors and M.Sc. conservation
biologists at our training center in Goroka, Eastern Highlands Province.   

Duties would primarily entail working with students, editing their writing,
training in statistical analyses and other science-skills.   

Applicants must be adept at Microsoft software, familiar with conservation
literature, and eager to help mentor bright and enthusiastic students who
need advanced scientific training (e.g., leading discussions, training with
various software, supervising weekly GRE practice tests, etc.).  

Applicants will also assist with the general logistics and daily routine of
the training program.  Prefer field experience in Australasia, or tropical
rainforests, but not essential.
