 Alternative approaches include VMware or WINE, and getting some
 of the landscaping & design apps running within them, but this isn't
 particularly elegant, and also raises some ethical issues.  A couple
 of years ago I evaluated about a half dozen of the more popular design
 packages that ran on Win32 .. and they were all pretty ordinary.
