Registrations now open for 2007 Accredited Permaculture Training
At Djanbung Gardens

Full-time courses are Austudy approved

With 2 successful years of running the Accredited Permaculture Training
(APT) Cert III & Cert IV the program has been refined for 2007 to include
the Diploma program.

Key changes involve:
€ Including the PDC in Semester 1 courses for Cert III & Cert IV
€ Completing formal training component of Cert III in semester 1, to be
followed by 8-10 weeks of practical experience and to complete assessment
projects
€ Completing Certificate IV core units in semester 1 to enable progression
to Diploma studies in semester 2

The new semester breakdown
Semester 1  Earthcare
Natural systems, production ecology, permaculture principles, appropriate
technology & building, implementation and design of rural and urban
permaculture systems

Semester 2 Peoplecare
Community development and facilitation, working with cultural diversity,
sustainable aid, human settlement and ecovillage design, built environment
and infrastructure, bioregional development, ethical enterprise and
administration skills

Limited residential internships available
Non-residential registrations welcome

Djanbung Gardens is a purpose designed permculture training centre with a
wide range of established working systems. Students have access to an
extensive reference library, broadband internet and other site resources.
Principle tutor is Robyn Francis and a network of local permaculture
trainers, practitioners and people with specialist skills.
