Warm Greetings,

Just a note to endorse Vicki's call for participating in this event.
Matthew Notts Clean Energy for Eternity group here in the Bega Valley
have certainly created waves for our decision makers. They got 3000
people to an earlier event in Tathra to form a human sign that
represents 10% of our Shire population. The result of that effort was
that our council committed themselves to a 50\50 renewable energy target
by 2020.

This event in Canberra on Sunday will place the issue of renewable
energy right in their face. That picture of a human sign with possibly
10,000 people in it will be front page in most national papers on Monday
morning.

All the current polls for the next federal election are showing the
environment is looming as a major issue with voters. As
permaculturalists with lobbying power, our task is to lift the level of
the energy debate within all political parties, including The Greens.

Kind Regards
John Champagne
