In this shire we can make arrangements with the council so that they do not
spray.
You need to provide them with your alternative strategy for ensuring the
proper and safe maintenance of the council land outside and ajoining your
property. Then you need to put clear signage so that the council workers
will know that that particular piece of land is not to be treated.
Sometimes the workers spray for the sake of it and have been heard to laugh
and say "take this"....or the like. I find it is a symptom of chemical use
that the liver is so toxic that it creates the need for such arrogance and
venom. Or is it that those with such characteristics who gravitate to
occupations that call for such ultimate solutions????
Anyway try it on the Tweed Council and see if they are flexible with
vegetation management strategies.
Good luck
Janet

How can I stop the local Tweed shire council from spraying weed killer near
my house along my street?
