Found this site yesterday and its a goldmine and worth trawling.

1   Note there is a conference coming up.

2   Tons of great links including one on Famine diets and Ethiopia: tons of
info on that site for crops good in famines with rankings etc. Fabulous
site.

3   the site also has links to the British institution Kew Gardens and their
database for serious research. You must be specific about what you want from
them to get in I gather.

4   fanatastic link to a book on Fruit from warm climate by Julia Morton.
Ton of free information of great quality. Very comprehensive and useful.
