Essentially, FAST FOOD NATION is about where our food comes from, how it's
made and what it contains. ­ it¹s about how our modern industrial food
system has transformed what we  eat as well as how the industry has:

created a de-unionised workforce suffering low wages and poor conditions
propelled the juggernaut of American cultural imperialism abroad
triggered the homogenization of our culture
