[Pil-pc-oceania] Contents of Pil-pc-oceania Digest, Vol 6, Issue 17

Greetings from California,

Here in Sonoma County a wine growing region) we are experiencing a dearth of
bees. Theories as to their absence include mites and sterile ('Monsanto')
plants which cause lack of fertility as nourishment within the hive itself.
The foremost theory is cell phones, the waves of which disrupt a bee's
homing navigation causing it to get lost, cold and die.  If this latter
theory is true, then our technology is causing a significant disaster in the
cross-pollination community and ultimately for all living beings.  It would
be great to hear some other ideas about this topic.
