Thanks Tamara for posting the two installments from Bill Mollison regarding the proposal to form a Permaculture Political Party.
If at all possible it would be very good if Bill could touch on the reasons why he has (seemingly at least) had a change of heart.

I note that Bills second installment was entitled Energy, Water & Food, but the bit on food appears to have dropped off the post.

Hello Tamara

Colin Ball said:- (Pil-pc-oceania Digest, Vol 9, Issue 9)
"One competing ideology says that the whole project of becoming a political
party within a capitalist framework is to support it and to provide it
legitimisation by participating in it and accepting its rules."

This I understood to be more or less Bills Mollisons position too.
At any rate it is quite difficult to read Bills 14.4 (ALTERNATIVES TO POLITICAL SYSTEMS ) in his Designers Manual and conclude much else.

Tamara:- Perhaps you could ask Bill to put together a brief submission outlining his current thinking on these matters?. If Bill could provide at least a paragraph or two it would be quite a helpful contribution to this discussion I think.
