Hi Peter and All,
I just put my name down with www.dayleysfruit.com.au for these ocas and
found that I had already done so a while ago! Thing about this story is
that they must have been unavailable for a while.
Does anyone on the Permaculture International list know where they might
be available?
Thanks and cheers, Petra.

Hi there,

A wonderful helpful bloke at Ceres today in response to my enquiry about
NZ yams said that here they are known as Oca's. I have checked Green
Harvest web site and they are sold out. Anyone know where we can get
more? I have never seen them in Oz but always gorge on them when I go
back to NZ as they are sooooo good roasted!

Lari and I also bought some feijoas for our edible hedge, or "feidge" as
the bloke called it. He also recommended that they grow well with a
macadamia tree so we bought one of them also. We also got a Jaboticaba
which should be exciting and a native apple berry - a Billardiera to
climb up our big fence.

Cheers,
Peter
