[Pil-pc-oceania] APC9 Pre Registration

hi robyn,

attached is a proposal for a presentation i would like to give for the
permaculture calendar.  Since i spoke to you about the calendar, i have
worked with PIL comms sub-committee to form an association with PIL and
arrange a commission to PIL when the calendar gets established.

I didn't produce the calendar for 2008.  It is quite a process soliciting
photos from around the country, and then getting suitable photos.  So I want
to use the presentation at apc9, as outlined, to assist in connecting with
and communicating the details of the calendar with permies from across oz.

I also propose to give another presentation, which i had previously thought
of as being on the topic of *subdivision development based on agriculture* .  I
was planning to use the development of this place, Murrnong, to discuss the
pros and cons of a model of subdivision development that is thoroughly based
on tree crop agriculture.  Murrnong has been planned and developed for
closer settlement, long before planning authority approval for the
subdivision is available, and run as a small farm in the meantime.  In the
course of the presentation I planned to show photos and graphics, screen a
short video completed this week that is titled *Murrnong   a permaculture
subdivision* , and give particular attention to discussing the advantages
and disadvantages of this model of subdivision development.

While there is a lot in the presentation, and in the development overall,
that is about efficient water use, I hadn't planned to focus the pesentation
specifically on water .

I would like to discuss this with you.
