There seems to be this [continuing] myth that Kyoto is effective or
useful. There may be an associative benefit - highlighting the cause
and all that - but remember that the big winners from this whole
carbon trading lark may well end up being the fission power
proponents, which would be a particularly unfortunate end game.
(And pity the foos who sold their CC rights when they signed
their name in return for a few hard-to-dispose-of long life
light bulbs recently.)
