Good on you mate for uploading the interesting interviews.
I find the www.feasta.org website really interesting!
I find the Swedish Jak bank even more interesting - interest free banking by
having savings that earn no interest and accumulating savings credits (from
not earning interest) which pays the interest off a future loan! So if
everyone knew about it, you'd get your kids saving with the bank, so that by
the time they needed some cash for a house - you'd already have earnt some
serious savings credits!
That is what happens to most Aussie battlers allready, no interest on their
cash accounts, so why not have the savings credit to go with it?
Sounds like fertile ground for a JAK type bank in Australia.... similar in
idea to the Earth Bank proposed in the PDC designers manual?...
