[Pil-pc-oceania] Difference of Opinion on Water

I will put my two bobs worth here, and enjoy discussion that ensues.

Ok I don't think that permaculture prevents any other gardening or farming
process, because it is a bigger concept that all that.

Biodynamics sounds and is great, (although I get so confused about the moon
planting etc, and when to plant, that I don't do it, then I worry if I
forgot if you know what I mean!!)

But gardening/farming is only one part of it all, it is about community, or
it is about the total design concept not just one methodology. It is about
what we do in every facet being sustainable, not just whether we are organic
or not.

So therefore I think if you want to be biodynamic....be it. If you want
organic....do it.....if you want strawbale.....do it...if you want to save
water....do it. All of those are part of the picture.

It is the whole picture that we should be looking at by caring for the
planet, caring for each other and sharing what we have left over.

So at the moment I think all permis have a responsibility to stop hiding
their light in their own back yard, and we all need to get out and strut
our stuff.

Contact me if you want to get involved in any groups in the Sydney basin...
now there is a challenge.
