Good Cause
Global Food Relief Can help you organise Community Cooking - A new green way
of celebrating life, nature and food
How does it work?
1. Gather a minimum of 10 adults
2. Select a nice location where you would like to do the community cooking
Somewhere nice outdoors or indoors, with a sheltered place to install
couple of portable camping stoves for cooking and nice comfortable place to
sit around for dining.

4. Select the recipes
>From a list (provided by us) of multi-cultured, multi-colour, delicious,
healthy & sustainable recipes you would like to cook with your friends and
family.
What happens on the day?
GFR facilitator brings along all the cooking gear along with dry and exotic
ingredients needed for the recipes.
With a little help and guidance from GFR Facilitator, all participants
prepare and cook the delicious recipes.
Once cooked, everyone sits down to enjoy and share the same.
What do people bring along?
A Chopping Board & Knife, Contribution (From $25 per person, depending on
the menu and distance of location from Richmond), A Good Appetite & Spirit
of Sharing and Fun
How much time will it all take?
1.5 hour- 2 hours Having fun preparing and cooking in group
1 hour or more Enjoying the preparations
Who is Global Food Relief?
GFR is a charity organization that seeks to nourish & empower the socially
disadvantaged members of the community while promoting awareness about
healthy eating, cooking & shopping to the general members of the community
through interesting and fun programs such as Community Cooking.
GFR is launching its pilot program GFR Healthy & Happy Futures in the
Greater Western Sydney region under the auspices of University of Western
Sydney, Hawkesbury and Hawkesbury Earth Care Centre.
All donations (over $2) made to GFR are tax deductible.
