I am an old - PC Trainer as old as Bill Mollison.
Now back in Australia from rural Bangladesh
<FEEL FREE TO EDIT THIS, - 'Friends' >
At Umina. I am using our PC concepts and practice to grow my own veggies etc in a very small place.
------------------------------------------
Hi Franklin
at - Earth Repair Foundation
How are you? Friend ?
========================
I am ' tired '
As a friend - Advice - please.
I am sick and tired of 'Kicking a ball up-hill'
Both here in Australia and overseas.
============================================================
----
I'm now working my bum off, as I complete my, one year course.
Yet another, practical qualification - Certificate. at TAFE.
Cert iv - Community and Social Worker
First 6 months was theory.
This second 6 months is VERY heavy as we start to have to actually deal with and be exposed to people, men, women and kids who have suffered personal, physical, sexual etc - abuse.
Back in Australia. <Away from my 11 years working in rural Bangladesh>
'They" - Middle Class people, back in Australia have our Million dollar houses and $5,000 Home Theatres and take their holidays overseas . - As - - -
At Woy Woy - in Australia -
We have 'Feral' 13 and 15 yo M&F kids living rough.
At My Umina male public toilet by our library - The yellow collection bin for injecting needles often is often over full. So they just drop their used needles on the floor, don't they?
People on the pension who can't afford to buy either meat, fruit or vegetables to eat, and keep them healthy, can they ?
----------------------------
Should I move away from Umina to, yet another, country town in a remote place?
or overseas - away from Australia -
Where can I feel safe?
And make a difference ?
Franklin.
I am VERY tired.
================================
I 'Dunno' - Mate.
You and I talk about and try to 'Make a Change on Our Planet" -
Also - Your - "Earth Repair" - I honour you - Totally,
For those overseas who have no clean water and attempt ot live on less than a US one dollar a day.
Where do we start?
I don't know - "mate".
But to be positive -
After many, many years - our Permaculture concept seems to be the best, holistic way to live your life.
If you have a better way, away from Permaculture and its concepts, please let me know.
I totaly 'Love' and respect you, Franklin Scarf and your Earth Repair Foundation concept and work.
Keith Stewart - Who spent some 11 years living and working in rural Bangladesh.
