Following on from Tims excellent reasoning,
If it becomes political party, then that is not what I want, although the
concept and what Permaculture is about is what I espouse> How would I
separate what I try to live, from a polical party and its decisions,
remember politics is about so much more than just "green issues" it is
about schools, houses, roads, Afghanistan, peoples lives, budgets, jobs,
and yes on every one of these permaculture can have an influence but to be
wholly managing this would require decisions that we would question. And
eventually it would be come corrupt, and have to make compromises, and
deals, and have pressure to bear on decisions. Someone needs to make money
out of it, someone has motives of grandeur, But if that happens then..
I think I need to invent another name for what Permaculture is without it
being called Permaculture. That still combines those ethics and principles,
techniques etc. So some thoughts so far "holistic living" - Permaculture
without the politics.
Now if you are talking deep and meaningful organization for LOBBYING
government. that is a different story
