Hi Terry
PRI doesn't have a list, it's a discussion forum on Geoff Lawton's site.
Just go to: www.permaculture.org.au and click on discussion forum
This topic is under "Permaculture People's Party" in the "The Big Picture"
section.
Cheers
Fern

What List? I am quite happy for my remarks to be re-posted on another
list. I should be so lucky etc! Also did not realize PRI had set up
another list but it makes sense when you think about it. What forum is
going to be offered to graduates of PRI courses who are presumably not
going to be urged to join PIL? Do find this a bit depressing. From our
perspective in terms of our list it is also unfortunate, I think people in
PRI have a lot to offer and would be interested to hear what they are
writing about in their list. I do not have the same concerns as Tim about
Bill's controversial stirring, although I do have some concerns about how
he has related to people over the long term, and of course there are some
points of disagreement but that is inevitable with any of us,
Terry

I'm quite happy for you to post my messages on the PIR list Fern -
although somehow I think it would be good in the long term if we were
all posting to one site, on the issue of PPP. I have to be honest - I
have only been vaguely aware of the PIR listserve, so I can imagine that
there are many on that list who are only vaguely aware of PIL. This
issue has really highlighted for me the existence of two quite distinct
groups within the movement, and I feel a bit sad and concerned about it.
I'd like to see the movement working together a bit more effectively
before we get too serious about going political or in some other way
trying to build a unified voice in the mainstream.
cheers,
Kerry
