 Hi Tamara,

People are offended by all kinds of things .. top-posting is one of
the things that offends me, for example. Making abbreviations (or
portmanteaus) from existing abbreviations (or ditto) is another.

Have you ever seen an episode of Backyard Blitz? It's always
struck me as an advertisement for companies that sell pavers,
CCA kit pergolas, and ready-made plastic ponds to plug into mains
power .. rarely an edible plant in sight, occasionally deferring to
the idea of minimal water usage, always aiming for form over
function (sizzle over sausage, style over substance, take your
 metaphor).

While it's doubtless quite laudable to try to gain that part of the
'market' and shift them a less gee-whiz-ain't-that-pretty-ma
mentality, they are going to cop a bit of grief from both sides
 about that aspect I suspect.

Keep in mind that I, and I'm assuming Laurence, have only the story
that was originally cited to go on .. which is pretty light on the
details around the subject that Laurence originally responded to.

If you think that I asserted that these guys know nothing about
permaculture, I'd suggest you read my post again.

 cheers,
 Jedd.
