thanks for you comments.
'Sustainability' has been misused and 'bastardised' there is no doubt, and
yet still manages to remain the 'key' word (i.e buzz word) in government
spin.
I take your point re on the ground experience, but i am STILL thinking there
is some control over  this if it is acted on now and not after the fact.
I just think that there are many who do not understand what is at stake.
It could jeopardise the APT training. After all, if you can legitimately
slap 'permaculuture' on the side of your ute and head off and call yourself
a designer in a professional sense then why do any training at all. ? Its
not enough to say that the client base will find out pretty quickly if you
are any good or not, the damage has been done and it shadows the movement.
This issue has come up in Academic circles as a major concern and you may
find that they slip back to using 'sustainability' units and not bother
calling them 'permaculture'. Thats a real shame.
