Just a quick note re list etiquette and making a bit more user  
friendly and to make the postings topic and content easier to follow.

1	Remember when replying to change or edit the Subject Line

2	Please judiciously or completely edit the message string that you  
replying to.
It's a bit wasteful of time and resources to have to scroll through  
lengthy threads that include all manner of distracting text.

For instance, I just deleted several pages of additional threads and  
digest entries that were on the end of the snip below.
So if I wanted to make a comment on the topic (and here goes my brief  
comment)

Dear Steve, Cecile, Tim, Penny, Ian, Russ  and others who've been  
entering this crucial discussion...

Well done and I hope there's plenty more discussion between now the  
APC 8 in Sydney next year.
As another member of the PIL Board I endorse what Tim has put to the  
network about revising and reviewing the role of PIL and how we move  
forward our communications and networking beyond the local and  
bioregional where most of our efforts and time are spent.
