JEFFREY M. SMITH VISITS AUSTRALIA NEXT WEEK

US author of highly praised anti-GM books "Seeds of Deception" and "Genetic 
Roulette" (see
http://www.geneticroulette.com/ ) will arrive in Australia next week on a 
whistlestop tour to
speak on GE/GM food crops, and launch the Australian edition of his book 
"Genetic Roulette".

[A flyer will be posted to this list soon with more details of events 
planned for his visit.]

Jeffrey will be attending a debate in Perth next Monday 12th, then travel to 
Adelaide on Wednesday 14th,
Hobart on Thursday 15th, and then on to engagements in Melbourne, Canberra 
and Sydney.

The ADELAIDE event will be held at the SA Museum (North Terrace) at 6pm till 
8pm on Wednesday 14th November,
after Jeffrey has attended a briefing with SA State politicians.  SA's Dr 
Judy Carman will  also speak,
and Jeffrey's book "Genetic Roulette" will be launched. (Copies will be 
available for $25).

*Politicians in WA and Tasmania, states which have extended their GE/GM 
moratoria, will be hosting Jeffrey's visit.
