Thanks for those points
In the past at APC events, we have had participants from many countries. It is great to
encourage this. While airfares are still cheap, there are many many world travelers,
and we will get some o/s permies here without even trying. If they have a PDC we won't
turn them away. Soon the price of oil may make this much less possible, so let's
encourage a wide geographic invitation while it is practical and not spend too much
energy on definitions. PDC holders are fellow travelers anywhere in the world.
For example, I have encouraged UK people to come. Many European permies visit OZ anyway
and they might as well do it at easter next year. In the UK, they are facing many
similar issues around Resourcing a peak body, training accreditation, PDC content etc.
I am sure this applies in other many places too.
