Does anyone know how lavender as mulch would affect the ph of the soil?

I've never used lavender as mulch before, so I'm not sure, nor have I tested it's ph.  Thought someone out there might know, as I've just mulched a garden bed with it.  i had plenty of it, and I've got enough potpurri etc.  I needed more mulch, and I'd just sheet mulched with dag wool, so the lavender was a good smell contrast!  I do like experimental mulching :)
