 Great idea which I haven't seen before is  to use old fridges as worm 
farms.  If anyone didn't see:
 remove seals so they are no longer airtight, remove shelves, compressors 
and degas, make a hole in the back of the fridge [which becomes the bottom 
of the worm farm], put a pipe through for the worm wee to run through into a 
container below, set on blocks  with back of the fridge as the bottom and 
the door lifts up as the lid.  Then just follow worm farm procedures.  He 
used a deep layer of compost, then the worms, then shredded wet newspaper, 
then food scraps.
