Hi Tamara,
Do you know of the WERIC?
Upon a recent working trip to Whyalla I discovered the WERIC.
(*Whyalla*Eco-Renovation Information Centre
.)
This place is quite an amazing little hub of activity. They have a market
occasionally, a community garden, information and displays of energy
efficient renovations and rainwater harvesting system. They've even got
huge bunches of bananas on some healthy looking banana
palms/herbs/pseudostems!
The ladies that run the joint were lovely as well!

Perhaps they would know of more permies in the area and/or would be
interested in a screening of the DVD....
cheers
