Dear Linda, You are definitely in the wah wah community of permaculture

Cheers,

Terry

I have just finished reading 'The Secret Teachings of Plants, The
Intelligence of the Heart in the Direct Perception of Nature' by Stephen
Harrod Buhner.
I would recommend it to everyone - it could change your life. He
verifies that the heart is in fact the first brain and must come before
the linear mind in information processing. And at the very least it
affirms what so many of us already know deep inside - that all are
connected, that life is in everything, even a rock and that with
perseverance, respect and love nature will communicate with you - plants
will speak directly to you.
The other books that must be read are the Ringing Cedar Series by
Vladimir Megre. Lots of out there stuff but it all correlates with
Buhner's work, such as her emphatic demands that you must try and
understand information through your feelings , that your analytical mind
can't understand on its own and much more - something on everything
with a roadmap to how humanity needs to move forward. Written in very
simplistic language but imbued with very deep meanings... and very
conducive to the permaculture/ecovillage/relocalisation/community
movements.
In the first book of the series 'Anastasia' - she talks about how to
plant a seed so that it knows and understands you and your specific
needs so it can grow in the right way to heal you of your illnesses etc.
I will be testing this later in the year when I can compare direct
planted seeds done Anastasia's way with the usual direct planted seeds.
Does this put me in the 'wah wah' community of permies? I hope not, I
think we need to connect to the cosmos as well as the earth...
Linda
