Seriously, though, we are already locked into most of the things that Tim
Low raves about.  The scale of change we are moving into is much bigger than
most of us can contemplate.  Perennial vegetation is our best hope,
supported by on-contour earth works, passive solar houses and strong local
communities.  Issues like: To spray, or not to spray, to kill cats or not
kill cats - these are about moving deck chairs on the titanic.

Instead of thousands more words about this, get back to the garden and plant
some more seeds
