The next step I think is to identify dates and then have  a vote of some
sort/  Can we use one of the forums that has facility for a count?  We need;
date choice, Name .PDC with? As details.  Is that all we need to know?

Now we need to chase up the date Permaculture One was released as that was
where many think Permaculture started and not with the birth of
Bill......well that's the feeling I am getting from the conversations on and
off the list.

I know how keen you are Penny to make it happen and I know how you honour
and respect Bill as the movement founder but can we take more time?  
Personally I like all  the days and for me and many of you too, every day is
Permaculture Day.  Selection is big and should be something that unites us.

I really do believe we can do this.  Already we have come a long way with a
real understanding of the depth of feeling and the importance people are
placing on this symbolic day.   There aren't that many contenders for the
day.  If we can narrow it down to 2 or 3 then we can set up a counter
somehow and record preferences.  We will have to have the count running for
a few weeks so everyone we can possibly include gets a chance to have input.

Can anyone work out a way to identify the release date of Permaculture One?
It must have been around the time of someone close to Bill or David having a
significant day of their own that could anchor it in time???????

I hope we don't give up that easy on finding a day we can all feel
represents what we believe and do.
