Two ways you could go about this,

- have the domain pointed to a youtube page so it's provided for you,
you just need to design the page template. The only problem with you
tube is that the quality is pretty terrible, bad video encoding and
the audio is sometimes really compressed and hard to hear.

- develop your own and copy and paste the youtube video player tags
into the page.

- develop your own, implementing a free flash player and have the
video download from a web server or incorporate a proper flash
streaming platform which I have the resources to supply and it can
also do live video conference streaming. Can build a you tube type
upload service to convert to flv and mpeg4. The only problem here is
storage space and bandwidth costs.

Do you mean video conferences , online e-learning, online live
presentations, video chat ?

I really like the idea behind this one

SustainabilityCommons.org

I am very much into creative commons music, so it could follow the
similar lines of that. Maybe an ad-hoc wiki-pedia but dedicated to
permi stuff sharing of information because information should be free
really. While studying at the moment some of the the resources I would
personally like to have in one spot is very much about plant charts
and databases, their needs, companions, and I could probably help jot
some things down about their medicinal uses.

Other resources that could go here of course is innovative products to
retrofit homes for energy efficiency, water, DIY corners, Howtos,
stuff like that. Of course the demos and howto videos could probably
be incorporated in the .TV idea.
