Volunteer Environmental Sustainability Supervisor
An exciting, career-boosting, volunteer opportunity exists for a driven individual, passionate about environmental conservation and the development of Africa’s rural poor. Join the Food Water Shelter (fws) team to build and operate an environmentally sensitive and sustainable children’s village in Tanzania, East Africa - home to 50 vulnerable women and children: - Counterpart for 12 months with Tanzanian staff and international volunteers; - Use permaculture principles to development and maintain an organic farm, biodigesters, compost toilets, rainwater harvesting, etc; - Use your creativity to implement new ideas such as mushroom production, rabbit breeding or beekeeping; - Assist in community education programs.
