From MOTHER EARTH NEWS [USA], "the original guide to living wisely".

Whether petrol-powered or electric, solar or scythe, you'll find what
you need to know in MOTHER's buyers guide to mowers. If you've still
got a patch of lawn somewhere, even if it's only the public dog
toilet on your nature strip, you need to read this occasionally
amusing but very informative article by Jeff Cox:

http://www.motherearthnews.com/Organic-Gardening/2002-02-01/The-Many-
Methods-of-Mowing.aspx

If anyone has any experience with growing Zoysia grass in Australia,
I'd be really interested to hear about it. Despite how Mr Cox feels
about Zoysia I reckon it's a really cute little plant, frost and
drought tolerant too.

Luv & peas,
Robyn

PS: article is from the USA, for "south" read "north", for "gas"
read "petrol"
