my dad is in critical condition, the western med doctors have said that
there's nothing that they can do for him.  he still can eat alttle, so i'm
wanting to make some medicinal stews and congees for him, so he can have
these instead of the crap that they've been giving him in hospital

anyone or if you know anyone who grows good quality organic:

- jujubes: i know they're not ripe until march in SA, but if anyone has
dried any from last season

- longans (from the longan tree):  may have finished fruiting now, but if
you've dried any

- fungi (especially maitake)

if you know of anyone who harvests, or can harvest unpolluted seaweed
