Hello Fern...
Please accept the sympathies of Fiona and I on the loss of your father.

Both Fiona and I have walked this same path as you and know that it is the
little things - as well as the big - of a person's life that stay fondly in
memory.

Sitting down and writing what you remember of someone you lose - as you have
done in your eulogy - can reinforce your realisation that their life, though
possibly quite different to yours, was certainly worthwhile.

I think that, whan we pause and remember what that person meant to us, we
can say with gratitude and profound appreciation "farewell... and thank
you".
