[Pil-pc-oceania] Peter Cowman - Living Architecture Centre is visiting Oz

I went to his talk in Castlemaine and then a friend bought his self-study course to design their own home. I enjoyed his talk and my friend said the course is fantastic.

I think it is aimed mainly at individuals looking at building. So that whether an architect does the final drawings or whatever the owners have really thought about and considered what they want from their home. Peter's point is that architects never 'learn' how to design houses with people's activity flows, wants and needs built into it. They design buildings that look great. So it's up to individuals to reclaim the design process so our houses work for us.

I'm helping arrange for Peter to give a talk at my local
sustainability centre in April. But I'm not 100% familiar with his
work, which means I'm not sure if I should be targeting advertising or
not. eg. Designers, architects, urban planners, home-owners,
