Hi Gang

A good remedy for ants is talcum powder.....boring I know but it works quick
smart. Just apply around the borders. It works by suffocating the ants as it
adheres to their surface and they cant breathe. So this might be
generalisable to other insects.

The only caution is a possible link to cervical cancer [?]. I think I read
of studies with baby girls and nappies etc.....

Wonder if cornflour might work as well though it would attract other
critters....
