I think bikes should be equipped with proper rear vision mirrors like  
on the helmets as well as indicators. At least indicating is easier  
than one handed steering while indicating. As for being more visible,  
I would hate to have to wear a fluro vest, but visibility is good,  
those recumbants are definitely not designed for the road and they  
wonder why they get run over :\
