FYI interesting video on self-installation of an electric bike kit, on a 
normal bike, and about the ride and the motor. looks very easy to 
install and ride - could be great if you were sourcing green power? 
thing i like about this system as against others too, is that it has no 
throttle I don't think - it just kicks in when you are steady at 5mph, 
and reads your level of effort, and then matches or betters it. i do 
wonder though, how you'd go on a very steep hill - how fast is 5mph - 
and could you necessarily maintain it if it was very steep?

still, possibly a good option to extend one's cycling range etc....
