Some may recall my post of Wednesday, 14 December 2005 (permaculture-oceania Digest, Vol 3, Issue 7) voicing my concern that "Positivism" was impacting on Permaculture & becoming a hindrance to the pursuit of truth, to which Russ Grayson responded in his usual well written & thoughtful way.
A discussion on Late Night Live (ABC Radio National -24/03/08) touched on this area linking the like as a means of social control and suggesting that we must be "open to the polarity and rhythms of the world"
Resilience, Engagement and Hopefulness were thought to be the qualities of substance rather than the more superficial happiness or sadness.
Melancholy, Zooming Out and Mindfulness were keywords of the discussion.
