The Ride2School Sustainable Bike Shed Grants have opened for 2008.
Bicycle Victoria (BV) are awarding two $14,500 grants for the
construction of bike sheds. This competitive grants program closes July
18.
This is exciting enough but what is more exciting is that:
"...A maximum of 40% of the $14,500 grant ($5,800) can be
allocated to the sustainability / permaculture component of the
bike shed."
BV are not normally noted for their progressive attitude,
disappointingly so as Victoria's self-styled 'peak' cycling
organisation, but they have achieved a state of enlightenment
by encouraging permaculture design.

BV have included an example design in the above link, which consists of
a bike shed with rainwater tanks and surrounding veggie garden........
Could I ask that anyone who designs a permaculture bike shed post their
design here....after the competition closes of course,
Regards,
Patrick
