Thats very interesting, I myself have had serious woes with recycling
e-waste and products that may contain "bad" plastics. I finally
tracked a company down via ryde council who deal with those things
that the council won't recycle and are just too painful to tip.

These include broken cd cases, electronic cables, broken computer
power adaptors, computer batteries (apple dont run a recycling program
all year so it's a con), foam packaging, cassette tapes, vhs tapes,
some electronic boards and stuff that may contain lead and pvc. I'm
also trying really hard to get rid of all my music on vinyl (PVC) so i
have them all in digital format. Not sure what to do with the ones I
can't sell so easily.

I will respond more once i work out what they intend of doing with the
stuff and 65 dollars later.

This company was really good and efficient to take 200+ of cd's off my
hands to recycle. The plastic in cd's are recyclable and so is the
silver film I guess.
