[Trusties] PDC Registration and Cam's Notes

Hi Naomi and all the other Trust crew.

I met you briefly Naomi when I dropped Joe off at the Trust. I've just recently sent off my teacher registration to Tagari and the first couple of attachments are the info which explains what's required. 

I've also included the PDC which I've written. It takes a lot of work but it's a great process writing a course because it's just like a big study session of the Designers Manual and cements a lot of the info you've soaked up along the way. They seem to be pretty strict as far as following the Manual when outlining your PDC, even wanting people to follow the same order when teaching the course. I didn't want to do that though, so I wrote out my timetable and notes the way I wanted and then did a summary of the Chapter headings and referred to the session during the course where that info is covered to make it easy for the person who is assessing the registration. Tony Watkins is the assessor (tony at tagari.com) and he seemed to be alright with that.

This course is written to the point of it being ready for registration, but it will be obvious that a few of the sessions are yet to be personalised and are basically just a summary of the Manual for now untill I find some more time and inspiration to sit back down in front of a computer screen again. In other sessions I've taken inspiration and techniques from many of the different teachers I've studied and worked with along the way, added new developments which have come to light since the Manual was written and omitted some points which have become redundant to some degree. Anyone who wants to use this as a basis for beginning the design of your own course feel free. If you do so, I'd really appreciate it if you sent your finished course back to me so that we can compare and both learn from the experience.

For all my old friends from the Trust I've got a big year ahead by the way. I'm off to Samoa in mid-March for a year long Permaculture project through the AYAD programme, I'm getting married to my partner Jessie in three weeks under the stringybarks in the bush down near Anglesea in Vic, and we're going to be having a baby over in Samoa in July. Exciting adventures as always.
