minoprio!!! great to hear you are still out there maaate! well, i have
landed in perth for the year and am aware of a great, local CSA,
Mimsbrook Farm. Really worth checking out their website if you're not
too overloaded with other posts. will let you know what i'm up to in a
private post.
the job posted for Steph. Alexander - it's worth noting that quite a few
fantastic grass roots Melb folk have worked for her org. and left after
feeling quite used. Cultivating Community were closely associated with
her org when they first got involved in the kitchen garden scheme and
developed the kitchen garden model. They are now asking the govt. why
Steph Alexander is receiving $60,000 for a national pilot scheme when
their organisation has been working in developing community gardens for
many years and have not been part of the consultation process. To date,
i believe they have had no response. I'm not sure if there is
information publicly available on this debate but if you want to find
out more, i would contact Cultivating Community before applying for a
job with Stephanie.
Regards to all
amanda

With the building food and energy crisis now is the time to initiate
local/ community food production systems. Community Supported
Agriculture as a very interesting/ useful set of structure's to organise
local food production and include many other community initiatives..
Great North American and Kiwi examples.
Angelic Organics (Famer John, many of you may have already heard of this
guy/seen his movie)

Simply good food and the Wairarapa growing company

Anyone know of a cracking Aussie example(s) or elsewhere?

Cheers
